Hi.

Running the latest version of miaCMS on Apache with MySQL5, I'm getting a massage that says:

"The page at www.mysite.com says:

Unable to prune old revisions from database".

Insights? Thanks.

Help with Email?

Hey guys and gals,

My problem is basically I cannot receive email from my site through the "Contact Us" link. I've tried just about every setting in the Global Settings section of the Admin panel to no avail. When I click on the checkbox to send an email to any email address, I will get it but not the email address that is set up and registered with my domain. I receive a mailer-daemon error like this:

This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.
A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of
its recipients. The following addresses failed:
<[email protected]>
SMTP error from remote server after RCPT command:
host email-com.mr.outblaze.com[208.36.123.16]:
550 <[email protected]>: No thank you rejected: Account Unavailable: Possible Forgery

I went through every setting I could think of looking for that email address and can't for the life of me figure out how or where that email address came from as my setup is done properly. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Prevent Modules on Registration Pages

Hi miaPeops,

i have certain modules that are set to display only on one or two menu items, however they are displaying on the registration pages, as well as some content pages. I think it may be that the modules are diaplayes on any page that is not linked to via the menu.

Hellow all,

I've installed a new component (moscom) and when i try to save configuration, appear an error message:

"The requested URL /mia/administrator/YAHOO.miacms.base.submitbutton('saveedit'); was not found on this server." under the url: "http://127.0.0.1/mia/administrator/YAHOO.miacms.base.submitbutton('saveedit');"

Anybody can help me ?

Do i need to create any sentence?

problems with miacms_admin template

Hellow everybody

I have just change to miacms from mambo. i upgraded to 4.9 but my miacms admin template doesn't work ok.

It seems like yui or javascripts doesnt load properly. The links dont works.

(i am in local)

the left menu and the right menu appears extended

Timeout settings for Admin screen

The Admin screen timeout require frequent re-login to screens causing loss of work. Is there anything that needs to be changed in order to increase the trimeout time or disable timeout for Admin. I attempted the following but that did not solve the problem:

Global Configuration --> Server
Set Login Session Lifetime to 999999

Registered users being able to see all content

Hello,

I having a problem with registered users being able to see content that only special users should see.

I have some content that I have set as special. The problem is registered users can see it too.

What are the files that deal with the member groups (acl), I would like to see if they are corrupt or is this a bug?

administrator timeout remotely but not locally??

Has anyone heard of this?

I'm very new to CMS technology and programming in general.

When trying to make changes to the site, I can only access the administrator page locally without getting booted. If I try to access the administrator site from home, the site times out VERY quick.

My session save path is set to c:\temp and it's currently writing succesfully on my server.

Any clue? Any tips or hints are appreciated.

Hi. When I click on "Contact Us" under preview it shows: There are no Contact Details listed

In the Components-Contects Item I have filled in the form linked to user Administrator, access is public,saved, published and there is no checked out icon showing.

In the Menu Manager/ Top Menu/ Contact Us the contact to link shows only Name and Position but they are both blank....

like me...what am I missing? Thanks, Brian

I'm not sure why but recently my administrative textarea edit boxes have defaulted to white background with white text. This makes it difficult to see what I am typing and causes me to force a color for all my content. Can someone please help me with this?

Hello all... thanks to Neil, I have discovered Mia and have converted my Mambo 6.4.5 installation without a hitch! It seemed to be a very smooth upgrade until I began working with my content manager trying to add New Category. For some reason, the Save and Apply icons have stopped working. Upload, Cancel and Help all seem to be working fine. Yes, I verified that the new MIA admin GUI is running. Luckily, my site is still in production so the issue is not critical but without being able to add new categories, I am afraid I am at a stand still. I also seem to be getting the 'Site is down - Code 2" error more often than with Mambo but I think that may be a MySQL issue on my hosted dedicated server.

Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated!

Breadcrumb navigation in other templates

Hey All

The default "borders2" template displays a breadcrumb trail just above the main content area. Since there is no module available to control this feature, I reckon this is either hard coded into the template or perhaps dynamically generated from the database. Anyway, I am testing out a new template and would like to include breadcrumb navigation. If anyone has successfully implemented this, I would be extremely grateful for the procedure.
