<![CDATA[Mia 4.8.1 problems]]> http://forum.miacms.org/viewtopic.php?id=794&action=new I have updated to MiaCMS 4.8.1 from 4.6.5 and everything seems fine. However, there are 2 things that do not work anymore. I am not 100% sure if this is due to the update, or that it has a different reason, since I do not use both features regularly.

1. When I add a new module, I no longer get the screen where I can choose the type of module (e.g. polls, latest news, popular, etc.), I directly go to the custom HTML screen. Anyone any help?

2. When adding images using the standard Media tool, the file name are added to the folder, however the image is 0kb and is (therefore) invisible. Again, any help would be highly appreciated.

Hoping for a fast reply!

<![CDATA[Expired content indicator]]> http://forum.miacms.org/viewtopic.php?id=812&action=new Howdy,
I think, I found al little bug in 4.8.1 compared to. 4.6.5.
From time to time I put articles that have expired into the archive.
In 4.6.5 a nice little sign indicates that an article is published but has expired.
4.8.1 correctly takes expired content of the site, but the little sign in the backend still shows this content as published. Mouse over shows the correct publication and expiration dates. But the little expired indicator is very helpful for admin in order to delete or archive old content on a glimpse.
Any ideas?
Keep on your great work!

<![CDATA[Problem when tring to create a section/category table entry in menu]]> http://forum.miacms.org/viewtopic.php?id=850&action=new when attempting to create a new menu item of category or section table, there appears to be a bug. rather than create a url such as

.../index.php?option=com_content&task=section&id=10&Itemid=73

you just get

.../&Itemid=73

which of course gives a 404 error when clicking the menu item on the live site

<![CDATA[In 4.9:Warning: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 2 to be array]]> http://forum.miacms.org/viewtopic.php?id=904&action=new Hi There
The frontpage says:
Warning: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 2 to be array, null given in /customers/ct-data.dk/ct-data.dk/httpd.www/miacms/includes/PEAR/Cache/Lite/Function.php on line 147

The site is an upgrade from 4.6.5 through 4.8.1 to 4.9
But a clean installation at 4.9 running on a celan/empty set of tables, using same configuration.php does give the same error.

I also tried the configuration_sample.php, of course i changed the appropiate database parameters, it still gives the same warning.

I have tried to read this forum but I can not find any hints o get pass this warning.
Anyone got an idea?

<![CDATA[plural form problem]]> http://forum.miacms.org/viewtopic.php?id=810&action=new I found two problems.

  • I would like to translate MiaCMS to Polish language.
Polish laguage requires plural 'Three forms, special case for one and some numbers ending in 2, 3, or 4'
After saving language with this parameter, in pl_PL.xml, I have empty plural_form.
It's only working with plural 'Two forms.......', but it's incorrect for polish.

  • In all *.pot files there are no plural forms.

<![CDATA[Mosimage subfolders don't open]]> http://forum.miacms.org/viewtopic.php?id=742&action=new Hi folks,
i found this glitch on two production sites converted to MIA 4.8 and in a 4.8 full install.
If i want to add a photo via the classical mosimage button, the picture tab shows me all the media folders and subfolders. Nevertheless, only the root folder (images/stories) is addressable. If I choose a subfolder, nothing happens, i.e. the pictures in this folder don't show up. Same behaviour in front- and backend.
If I choose the subfolders in the popup-menu in the media-manager, nothing happens. If I click the subfolders, they open.

Any ideas?

Cheers!

<![CDATA[Switching Templates Problem]]> http://forum.miacms.org/viewtopic.php?id=857&action=new Hi,

I'm trying to make a modified version of Borders2 (swapping out colors and images, so far), but even though my version is set as the default in the template editor, the user side is still loading the Borders2 template.

I have tried assigning my template to every page, as well as assigning Borders2 to "none".

I have altered name in the XML file. Will keep looking into it and post back.

I noticed the Borders2 xml file does not list all the image files, whic were not installed, and I had just done that with FTP.

Hmmmm.

I have published the Polls module on my site and dicovered that when it displays the Results of the Poll the Results Page displays a random title. Usually, it displays the title of the last page visited.

I am viewing it through IE 8.0, if you need more info just ask.

Thanks to all!
