Topic: Still very much under development and could use some help!!

Per some of my other posts, I'm building a game review site called "Game Appraiser". I spend a majority of my free evenings working on the existing template, menus, organizing content and trying to re-develop an existing game review module. My template is very plain for now and I've got very little content developed. We have successfully installed the SMF bridge and it's a GREAT forum system!
If anyone would like to take a look, make some suggestions, and help out with the template or any other part of the site, we welcome you to join us at Game Appraiser.

Here's a stupid follow-up question. I found a Joomla 1.5 template that includes a couple of modules that I want to use on my miaCMS website. I know for a fact that they are being used onb another miaCMS site but they may have been installed prior to a Joomla to mia conversion. Am I completely out of luck?

What happens when you try to install in MiaCMS?  They may work without issue or they may require a bit of reworking.  Might be best to try on a development site and then just report back any errors you run into.  Not gonna promise we can fix them, but we'll certainly give you some suggestions.

One of the modules is the JA_Slideshow module... I think I can modify this one easy enough... a couple of quick fixes to the XML and PHP files and I should be okay. I'll do some test installs of the template and report back with errors.. thanks for the help.

Woah... the site that was posted here in this forum yesterday that was running that template and the modules has been deleted! Did I spend most of the night and morning trying to modify J1.5 code for nothing? Ugh.

Here is the module I would like to incorporate into Mia.... it's not very large but it has some calls to JHTML classes and constants that I'm unsure how to modify to fit into the Mia framework. Is there a Mia API document somewhere that could help me in the future with conversion or developing my own extensions?
