I've discovered yesterday MiaCms , by looking at website opensourcecms.com .
I guess that's a bit late to ask the question, but why again an other fork ?
I mean, you are not happy with the Mambo foundation, fine, but then why not join Joomla! in their efforts ?
Developpers are not ready to support more than a CMS platform , and it doesn't seem that MiaCms is gaining popularity (just by looking statistic at alexa for instance).It's almost a miracle when Joomla! was released , that it was able to convert so many users.But it was clear that a majority of developers from Mambo are working now on Joomla, so that was almost a "no brainer" for me.

Despite my skepticism, I wish good luck to miaCMS.
Now that I've said this, here are my last remarks/critics :

* I hate the template used by this website. First I thought there was a glitch in the template,
until I realized it was rendered the same in all browsers. The first thing people are judging before trying a new CMS , is how the main website look. You fail at the first impression, sorry.
* I don't see a free discussion area on your forum. You can't be sure that the topic you post will fit a particular category, so that's always nice to have an "open discussion" section. For instance , I wasn't sure where to post this topic.
